前回に続きます。
③一人称 ( I ) を避ける
英作文では " I " , " me ", " my " , "we" , "us" , "you" は使わない
「私は〜と考えます」ではなく→ 「〜ということが示唆される」「〜という見解が一般的である」と書きます。
どのようにして一人称を避ければよいのでしょう。
1. I think を省く
I think exercise is important.
→ Exercise is important.
→ It is clear that exercise is important.
I think that the policy is ineffective.
→ The policy is ineffective.
In my opinion, the book is a masterpiece.
→ The book is a masterpiece.
2. 受動態を使う
We should recycle more.
→ More recycling should be encouraged.
You can see the results in Table 1.
→ The results are shown in Table 1
You should analyze the results.
→ The results should be analyzed.
3. 名詞で文章を始める
We can solve this problem.
→ Governments can solve this problem.
→ Communities can solve this problem.
I believe AI will change education.
→ AI is likely to transform education.
4. "people"を使う
We spend too much time online.
→ People spend too much time online.
5. "it is..."を使う
I think it is necessary to improve public
transportation.
→ It is necessary to improve public transportation.
6. 動名詞を使う
We should exercise regularly.
→ Exercising regularly improves health.
I think learning a foreign language is useful.
→Learning a foreign language provides many
benefits.
I think learning a foreign language is useful.
→ Learning a foreign language provides many
benefits.
